HOW HOLOPACK WORKS
A pack is an index token with a floor. The curve gives it a price; the binder gives it backing. Both live on Robinhood Chain and both are readable by anyone.
THE LIFECYCLE
- 01 · Print
A deckbuilder picks up to six cards, sets weights and the printer's cut. The factory deploys the pack, its binder and its fee splitter, and starts the run.
- 02 · Rip
Anyone buys on a constant-product curve over virtual reserves. 0.5% goes to the protocol, the creator fee is split between the deckbuilder and the binder.
- 03 · Fund
The binder's ETH is converted into the decklist's cards, by weight. Permissionless: any keeper can trigger it.
- 04 · Grade
At 4.2 ETH the run closes. 200M tokens plus the ETH raised (minus 1%) become a Uniswap pair whose LP tokens go to 0xdead.
- 05 · Disenchant
Holders burn pack and receive a pro-rata slice of every card in the binder. Supply on the curve or in the pool is excluded from the math.
- 06 · Trade
The pack keeps trading on Uniswap. The binder keeps its cards. The floor stays.
THE CURVE
(virtualEth + ethReserve) · (virtualToken − sold) = k
The virtual reserves are chosen so the curve ends exactly at the price the pool opens at. Sending more ETH than the run still needs charges fees only on what the run uses — the rest comes back in the same transaction.
| Graduation target | 4.2 ETH |
| Curve / pool supply | 800M / 200M |
| Virtual reserves | 1.4 ETH · 1,066,666,667 tokens |
| Protocol fee | 0.5% per trade |
| Creator fee | Set at print, capped at 3% |
| Graduation fee | 1% |
| Snipe window | 5 s, tax decays 99% → 0, paid to the binder |
| Minimum binder share | 20% of the creator fee |
WHAT CAN'T HAPPEN
- ✕Nobody can mint more pack — the mint authority doesn't exist after deploy.
- ✕Nobody can withdraw from a binder. Not the deckbuilder, not the protocol owner. Only disenchant moves a card.
- ✕Nobody can pull sealed liquidity. The LP tokens are at 0xdead.
- ✕Nobody can change a decklist or a fee split after printing.
- ✕Nobody has to wait for the team to open disenchant — markGraded is permissionless.
GLOSSARY
- Pack
- The index token. One ERC-20, fixed print run of 1,000,000,000, no mint after birth.
- Cards
- The 1–6 ERC-20s behind a pack. Memecoins, stables or tokenized blue chips.
- Decklist
- The recipe: which cards and the weight of each in basis points. Immutable once printed.
- Deckbuilder
- Whoever prints a pack. Earns the printer's cut on every trade.
- Rip
- Buy pack with ETH on the curve.
- Disenchant
- Sell pack. On the curve, for ETH. After grading, for your slice of the binder.
- Binder
- The reserve vault. Holds the cards. No owner, no admin withdrawal.
- Print run
- The bonding curve. 800M sold here; 200M kept back for the pool.
- Grading
- The run closing at 4.2 ETH. Liquidity moves to Uniswap and the LP tokens are burned.
- Slabbed
- Sealed liquidity. Unreachable by anyone — the only kind of locked that means anything.
- Printer's cut
- The creator fee, in ETH. At least 20% of it goes to the binder as reserves.
- Chase card
- The card that's pulling the pack up.
